Object administration is responsible for collaborating with the strategic planning unit and senior management to define the strategic object model. Object administration maintains the system of record for the strategic object model and the class repositories. Object administration works with class teams and business-process teams to design the interfaces for all major classes. As new requirements emerge from the business units, object administration is consulted to determine which class categories are to be enhanced or modified. Standards for object development are also defined by this group.
